$160 | 50-minute Individual Therapy Session
Seeking therapy is an investment of your time, resources, and trust. I don’t take that lightly. I’m committed to honoring that investment by showing up prepared, present, and intentional in our work together.
Extended (90-minute) sessions may be available when additional time would support our work. If you’re curious whether an extended session might be a good fit, let’s talk about it.
-
Grace & Grit Therapy is a private-pay practice and is not in-network with insurance providers.
This allows our work together to be guided by your story and your needs rather than the requirements of an insurance plan. It also provides greater flexibility in how we approach our work together while offering an additional layer of privacy.
-
Depending on your insurance plan, you may be eligible for partial reimbursement through out-of-network mental health benefits. I can provide a Superbill for you to submit directly to your insurance company.
Because benefits vary by plan, I recommend contacting your insurance provider to understand your coverage and reimbursement options.
Investment FAQs
-
Payment is due at the time of your session. For your convenience, a card can be securely kept on file and charged after each appointment.
-
Yes. Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) can often be used to pay for therapy sessions. Because every plan is different, I encourage you to check with your HSA or FSA administrator to understand your specific benefits.
-
While I don't bill insurance directly, many clients choose to use their out-of-network mental health benefits. If your plan includes out-of-network coverage, I can provide a Superbill for you to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
-
A Superbill is an itemized receipt that includes the information your insurance company may need to process an out-of-network claim. I’ll provide the documentation, and you’ll submit it directly to your insurance company. If approved, reimbursement is paid directly to you.
-
Coverage varies by plan, so it’s best to contact your insurance company directly. Ask whether your plan includes out-of-network mental health benefits, what portion of the session fee may be reimbursed, and how to submit a claim.
-
If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, I ask that you provide at least 24 hours’ notice before your scheduled session. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed appointments, may be subject to the full session fee.
